THE ART:
This month we’re featuring the artwork of Chicago artist EX1ST (http://www.myspace.com/exist1). with custom shoe box designs, and a pop-up installation of his most recent visual creations.

Ex1st’s Bio:
The dark art of Chris Whisby started with childhood nightmares; you know the kind that never goes away. Those recurring nocturnal visions, I could never seem to escape their horrific grasp. Countless failures in attempts to express my visions to others, my pen was the only way out of these ungodly mental pictures placed in my head every night. Unable to express in words the horrid visions that ramble in my shaken mind, my only inspirations, music and actual art work, provided a way for this to be ‘oh so normal’ to me. Skinny puppy has been a musical motivation in addition to artists such as Chris Adams and H.R. Giger.
