Chicago’s Altered Tapes is back it with another rework. This time around they’ve tapped the 90s Alterna-Rap group Arrested Development for their 1992 song “People Everyday,” a 22 year old party anthem which samples a Bob James jazz fusion track from 1977. So essentially this rework has been 37 years in the making. Brimming with Latin percussion and a disco / slow house feel, the crew manages breath new life into this Hip-hop classic. If you’re unfamiliar with their productions, we highly recommend spending a couple hours over on Soundcloud asap.
