MF Doom x Clarks Originals – Bookhead (Remix) [New Music]

Ever wanted to make a beat by sampling shoes? Does that question even make sense? In the world of MF Doom it not only makes sense, but also the end result is surprisingly good and is everything you’d expect from the Villain. Teaming up with Clarks Originals, Doom recorded and sampled the rhythmic sounds of the shoe-making machinery at Clarks HQ for a remix of his 2013 track “Bookhead.” The result could be called “Industrial Boom Bap” and knocks as heavy as the machines from which it was born. As well, he designed a limited custom run of Doom-branded Wallabees for the shoe collector in you. But really, the question we’re all wondering is if this is the real Doom? (I mean who isn’t?). 3 Sneakers that will help you make new friends

Depending on your budget a few shoes hit retail and online this past weekend that are sure to increase admiration and random conversations with strangers. First up  is the New Balance MRT580BG – ‘Halloween’ Showcasing a forest green upper, with dark green suede detailing and speckles of red along the tongue, heel and sole. $120 bucks and your in the game.

Next up is the “Dark Night” JS Wings 3.0 Jeremy Scott X Adidas that dropped Friday and left shelves as quickly as they dropped. Mr. Scott takes his wing concept to the max with these patent leather black on black sneakers. Covering the shoe is a very detailed 3D wing embellishing. This is a sure fire winner for the comic book aficionado, to the person that wants to stand out minus the bright colors. For  $250 bucks you can join in to keep Gotham safe.
The prized jewel of the three is the Air Jordan 3 PE “Usher Gold”. If you have seen the Cheerios commercial with Usher and Buzz Bee you may have noticed some heat on his feet. I was assuming these would be gifted like Nelly’s shoes were last campaign  Yellow Labron 10’s (I was lucky enough to get). Nike designer Tinker Hatfield sent Usher the Gold Jordan 11’s as a birthday gift a while back, and now these have surfaced as a one of one. That was until this weekend when a pair hit Ebay. You can bid it out but expect to pay somewhere between $600-$1200 bucks to break necks on the ave. Good luck.
